This article shows you how to apply an AWS Marketplace License to an existing Individual Account or Organization.
This article assumes you have a functional SSProtect Individual Account or Organization and have purchased an AWS Marketplace Subscription License. The following text assumes familiarity with SSProtect Licensing as described by articles in this section.
In order to apply an AWS Marketplace License, you must be operating with a Trial License and as an SSProtect Organization.
If you are working with an Individual Account, follow the steps in the article, Migrating to an Organization Account before proceeding.
If you are not using a Trial License, you will not be able to automatically associate your AWS Marketplace License with your Organization. Contact Support for assistance.
License and Components Interface
With your SSProtect Organization operating with a Trial License, navigate to the License and Components Interface using the notification icon's context menu of the same name. Choose RegCode from the top right, which will display a popup entry field for you to use:
From the AWS Marketplace Subscription web page, copy the RegCode:
NOTE: You can navigate back to this interface from the AWS Marketplace Subscription page, at any time.
Paste the RegCode into the input box, then choose Associate. SSProtect automatically applies the License to your Organization, providing immediate confirmation (or other status).
All Privileged Users in your Organization receive a confirmation email shortly after this action, and SSProtect operation continues without interruption.

Verifying Automatic License Adjustments
KODiAC Cloud Services automatically applies the terms of your AWS Marketplace Subscription License to your Organization. Verify the number of licensed Seats by returning to the License and Components display and viewing the noted Seats at the top right.
KODiAC Cloud Services never removes existing Trial License Seats or Component Services, even when your AWS Marketplace Subscription License entitles you to fewer Seats and/ or Services.
This will be reflected by text at the end of the confirmation email. Contact Support to resolve these inconsistencies, since there are cases where it is impossible for KODiAC Cloud Services to know exactly how you wish to proceed.
This applies to Bundles that give you a choice between two Services - if your Organization hasn't already enabled one of the optional Services - or you wish to switch and use a different Service - Support can coordinate your request and make the corresponding adjustments.
IMPORTANT: KODiAC never removes Services or Licensed Seats; this is resolved manually to avoid any service disruption.
